Following the draw for the preliminary phase of the Confederation Cup, made on Thursday July 11 at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Union Touarga Sport will face RC Abidjan, winners of the national cup in Côte d’Ivoire, in the 1st round of the competition. The first leg will take place in Morocco between August 16 and 18, while the second leg is scheduled for August 23 and 25. Should Touarga qualify, they will face the winner of the match between East End Lions FC of Sierra Leone and ASC Jaraaf of Senegal.
